FTR Comment On Their AEW Contracts Expiring Soon

Former AEW Tag Team Champions FTR have commented on their contract status with AEW and say they “don’t have very much longer” on their current deals.

The team formerly known as The Revival became All Elite in May 2020 when it was reported that Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood had signed a “multi-year” deal with AEW. As part of WWE, the team had captured the NXT, Raw, and SmackDown Tag Team Championship, cementing their claim to be GTTOAT.

Now speaking to Brandon Walker on Rasslin’ FTR say they are looking forward to reclaiming the AEW Tag Team Championship that they held for just 63 days in 2022:

“In 2022, we are going to get the titles back and we are going to have the title run that we should have had the first time where we are world-beaters.”

FTR was then asked why the impetus was on achieving their goals so quickly, with Cash Wheeler adding that the team doesn’t have long left on their current contracts so need to make the most of their time left in AEW:

“Because we don’t have very much longer on these current contracts. I don’t know what’s going to happen from there, but we have a short amount of time to accomplish the things we want to accomplish.”

FTR is currently the AAA World Tag Team Champions after defeating The Lucha Brothers while poorly disguised as Las Super Ranas on AEW Dynamite.
