FTR Attack The Briscoes In Stunning ROH Debut

FTR making their entrance

Moments after recapturing the ROH World Tag Team Championships, The Briscoes’ hopes for a post-match celebration were dashed by the debuting FTR!

Jay and Mark Briscoe overcame the odds at Final Battle and dethroned Matt Taven and Mike Bennett of The OGK to begin their record-setting 12th ROH World Tag Team Championship reign. After the intense bout, Jay claimed that whilst this period of Ring of Honor was over, the era of The Briscoes would continue and laid down the gauntlet for any team to confront them.

The lights went out and when they came back on, the newly-crowned champions came face-to-face with AEW’s Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood of FTR! The four men went on to brawl for several minutes and were eventually broken up by ringside personnel.

The Briscoes were reported to be backstage at AEW Dynamite in early November, leading many to speculate if Dem Boys will soon become All Elite and reignite their feud with the AAA World Tag Team Champions down the line in AEW.

Final Battle served as an emotional farewell to the current era of Ring of Honor and featured surprise appearances from AEW, IMPACT and NWA stars. Aside from FTR, IMPACT’s Deonna Purrazzo returned to Ring of Honor to lay down a challenge to ROH Women’s World Champion Rok-C and the former Braun Strowman made a shock appearance!

Elsewhere on the show, videos from numerous ROH alumni sharing their memories of the promotion were shown from the likes of Bryan Danielson, Hangman Page, CM Punk and The Young Bucks.
