FTR will compete in London, later this year.
NJPW have announced that IWGP, Ring of Honor, and AAA Tag Team Champions, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR will compete at the company’s Royal Quest II event, this October.
No opponents for FTR have yet been announced but it’s safe to assume that they’ll defend the IWGP Tag Titles at the event. Harwood and Wheeler defeated Roppongi Vice and now-former champions, Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan in a three-way tag match at Forbidden Door, this past June. Since their IWGP Tag Title victory, the pair have appeared on a handful of NJPW shows, most recently when Harwood defeated Rocky Romero in singles action at Music City Mayhem.
While top names such as Kazuchika Okada, Zack Sabre Jr., and Tetsuya Naito have been announced for the event, no matches have yet been announced.
FTR will next compete alongside Wardlow against the team of Jay Lethal and the debuting, Motor City Machine Guns in a six-man tag team match at AEW: All Out, next weekend.
NJPW: Royal Quest II takes place across two nights on Saturday, October 1, and Sunday, October 2, and emanates from the Crystal Palace Indoor Arena in London, England.
