The wrestling world recently learned about the unfortunate news of Sycho Sid’s demise.

As soon as the wrestling legend breathed his last, the entire industry came together to pay their homage. Arguably known as one of the greatest heel wrestlers of all time, Sid also featured a lovable side to him outside of the business.

Known to fans as Sycho Sid, Sid Vicious, and Sid Justice, he spent years in the industry and enjoyed multiple runs as the world champion in different promotions. While fans were taken aback by this sudden unfortunate news, names in the industry also paid their tributes.

The Twitter handles of AEW, Sting, Matt Cardona, Booker T, Eric Bischoff, and many others came together to mourn the loss. WWE’s Instagram page also shared the news of the legend’s demise, as fans paid their respect to him.

Booker T shared a heartfelt note and showed his gratitude to the legend. The five-time world champion shared how much Sid contributed to his career, and opened the path for many others.

On August 26th, Sycho Sid’s son, Gunnar Eudy shared the unfortunate news on his social media. He shared the sad news of his father losing his long-fought battle with cancer.

I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Sid began his wrestling career in 1987 and continued till 2017. His final televised match in WWE took place in 2012 where he scored a pin-fall victory over Heath Slater.
