The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday Night SmackDown have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the September 2nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown pulled in 2,077,000 viewers with a 0.49 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic. The episode was taped on August 26th due to WWE travelling to the United Kingdom for Clash At The Castle.
By contrast the previous week drew 1,990,000 viewers with a 0.48 rating in the key demographic.
The Clash At The Castle go-home episode of the blue brand was headlined by a championship celebration in honour of Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief was celebrating two-years as Universal Champion. However, the party didn’t go off without a hitch, as Drew McIntyre gate-crashed the fun to leave Reigns laying.
Elsewhere, the Viking Raiders defeated the New Day, Butch saw off Ludwig Kaiser, while Ronda Rousey was reinstated before attacking Adam Pearce.
