Friday Night SmackDown Ratings – May 6th
The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday Night SmackDown have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the May 6th episode of Friday Night SmackDown drew an average of 1,998,000 viewers. The show also garnered a 0.46 rating in the 18-49 year-old demographic.
That’s a slight increase on the previous week, where the blue brand pulled in 1,953,000 viewers, with a 0.38 rating in the key demographic.
The May 6th, WrestleMania Backlash go-home edition of the show began with Charlotte Flair addressing her loss in the Beat the Clock challenge the previous week. Flair called out Ronda Rousey, before attacking Aliyah, who she failed to beat quickly enough the week before. This brought out Rousey as chaos ensued.
Elsewhere, Shayna Baszler defeated Sasha Banks with a little help from Natalya, Sheamus and Ridge Holland saw off The New Day in a Tables Match and Gunther demolished Drew Gulak.
The show also saw the in-person return of Lacey Evans, while The Bloodline and RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre went face to face one more time before meeting at WrestleMania Backlash.
