The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday Night SmackDown have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the March 25th episode of Friday Night SmackDown pulled in 2,180,000 viewers and scored a 0.49 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic. That is 638,000 viewers.
That’s a very slight increase on the previous week where 2,147,000 viewers tuned into the blue brand.
The March 25th edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw Xavier Woods return to WWE television for the first time since January.
Kofi Kingston had been due to take on Ridge Holland, however, things weren’t quite that straightforward. On his way to the ring, Kingston announced that Holland would be competing against a member of the New Day but it wouldn’t be him, instead introducing Xavier Woods.
The 2021 King of the Ring made a winning return, pinning Holland in two minutes.
Elsewhere, Ronda Rousey fired back at Charlotte Flair over their brawl the previous week and Ricochet lost to both Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo one after the other. It was announced that the three men will compete in a Triple Threat Match on April 1st.
The main story running through the show was Brock Lesnar trying to get his hands on Roman Reigns who initially wasn’t at the arena. Lesnar destroyed Reigns’ dressing room, later taking an axe to his car. In the main event, Reigns cut a promo aimed at The Beast, as Lesnar came to the ring. While he proceeded to beat down security, Reigns got away unscathed.
