The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday Night SmackDown have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the July 8th episode of Friday Night SmackDown pulled in an average of 2,129,000 viewers with a 0.47 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic.
By contrast the July 1st, Money In The Bank go-home show the previous week drew 2,142,000 viewers with a 0.49 rating in the key demographic.
The July 8th episode of Friday Night SmackDown opened with The Bloodline holding court in the ring. The segment ended with Paul Heyman ranting anxiously that he was worried Reigns would “go savage” at SummerSlam when he takes on Brock Lesnar.
In the main event, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus were due to clash over the right to face the Undisputed Universal Champion at Clash at the Castle. However, the match never got started, with Butch taking the Irish star’s place.
The show also featured a confrontation between Liv Morgan, Ronda Rousey and Natalya, while the Viking Raiders demolished by the New Day and Jinder Mahal and Shanky.
