In recent weeks both Juice Robinson and Bandido have appeared on AEW Dynamite despite neither being signed to All Elite Wrestling. However, it appears that could be about to change.

While NJPW star Juice Robinson stepped up to face AEW World Champion Jon Moxley on the September 28th episode of Dynamite, it was an appearance by Bandido on the same show that really got fans talking. The Mexican star shone as he challenged Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship, and it was reported that he was expected to join AEW shortly after.

However, the man himself later denied that he’d agreed a deal, and even confirmed that there had been interest from WWE.

Although news on a potential AEW had gone quiet in recent weeks, a new report has seemingly confirmed that everything is in place, even if neither side has put pen to paper.

Bandido Has “Verbally Agreed” A Deal With AEW

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that Bandido is now considered a member of the roster.

“PWInsider reported the signings of Juice Robinson and Bandido. AEW hadn’t confirmed either signing but they never confirm them until they release it themselves. But as a general rule they are pretty quick to release it themselves, especially with Bandido that I’d think they’d do it if pen was put to paper. The only thing I was told regarding Bandido is that he had verbally agreed to terms and everyone was going with the idea he was coming in, but nobody could confirm if he’s put actual pen to paper. But we’ve basically been told he’s considered in.”

Since beating Bandido, Chris Jericho has continued his attack on many of ROH’s former stars and champions, defeating the likes of Bryan Danielson, Dalton Castle and Colt Cabana.
