Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. recently discussed Bray Wyatt being a stellar attraction and commented on a possible return at Clash at the Castle.
Many were shocked at the release of Bray Wyatt from the WWE in July 2021. The Eater of Worlds’ was a multi-time champion often featuring prominently during his tenure with the company but was informed his release was due to budget cuts.
One admirer of the Fiend and the characters’ uniqueness is Freddie Prinze Jr. Speaking on his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, the ex-WWE writer said Wyatt “was the last attraction left in wrestling” comparing him to The Undertaker:
“Everybody wants it. Everybody likes Bray. He was the last attraction left in wrestling. He was actually an attraction, like The Undertaker. There was something magical about him. So we miss him.”
Prinze also spoke about a potential return for Wyatt at Clash at the Castle revealing he doesn’t anticipate seeing Bray at the event in Cardiff:
“But every pay-per-view, I hear everyone go, ‘This is the one. Look, there was a hint of him.’ Like no, that was Edge.”
The return of numerous Superstars who were previously released under the Vince McMahon regime has led to speculation Wyatt’s comeback is imminent.
Since taking over creative and talent relations, Triple H has been responsible for the returns of Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Dakota Kai, and Dexter Lumis, in addition to various other stars having more of an opportunity to shine.
Despite strong rumours linking him with AEW, Bray Wyatt hasn’t appeared for any wrestling organisation since being let go from WWE.
