Former WWE Superstar Franky Monet has commented publicly that she believes that WWE will be sold within the next five years.

Franky Monet was part of WWE between April 2021 until she received her release on November 4th, having only wrestled six times for the company as part of NXT.

Better known by her non-WWE ring name of Taya Valkyrie, the longest reigning Knockouts Champion has suggested on social media that her former employer will be in different hands within the next five years.

Rumours continue to swirl as to the future of WWE as the company has carried out swingeing cuts to its roster beginning in 2020 that have been put down to “budget cuts.”

The latest of these cuts took place on November 18th, 2021 with the likes of Hit Row, Monet’s husband John Morrison, and Tegan Nox among the latest batch of WWE Superstars released from their contracts.

Many onlookers have also pointed to the power of WWE President Nick Khan and the fact that the company will be moving into rented headquarters in 2022 as they seek to sell off their longtime home as other factors that WWE might indeed be up for sale.

However, former WCW President Eric Bischoff has recently stated that he believes the company won’t be sold as he believes family legacy is the most important thing to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
