A former women’s champion has finally returned to WWE NXT.
The April 8th edition of NXT on The CW began with a singles match between Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker. Present at ringside with the announcer’s team was dual champion Stephanie Vaquer, about to make a decision on her Stand & Deliver opponent.
With Parker and Grace present outside of the ring, Vaquer pushed Parker backward. This led to Parker slapping the champion, and in retaliation, Vaquer swung back but accidentally hit Grace. As the three women started brawling, fans witnessed a former champion return.
Last seen losing her NXT Women’s championship to Stephanie Vaquer at Roadblock 2025, Giulia made her long-awaited return. Although she has since appeared on the live shows, it was her television return after losing to Vaquer last month.
Giulia returned and attacked Vaquer, to stand tall and close the segment.
Later that night, Stephanie Vaquer chose her opponents for Stand & Deliver.
WWE Star Stephanie Vaquer Has Officially Named This Viral Move
Going viral on the internet and loved by Booker T, Vaquer regularly puts her opponents in this move during her matches. The move sees Vaquer trap her opponent’s head in her legs and smash it repeatedly into the mat. During an appearance on No Contest Wrestling with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and TJ Jefferson, Stephanie Vaquer revealed the name for it.
“Matt Bloom says Devil’s Kiss. I love this name. People ask me about the name, but I don’t really have a name for the move because it’s weird. I try to mix many thing and find a new wrestling style. Sometimes I’m asked about the name and I say, ‘I don’t know,’ because I’ve never seen it before. Now, I know because I saw a video of Charlotte, but I didn’t know. I really didn’t know. It’s a bit different (than hers). It’s not the same. Similar, but not the same,”
