Former WWE United States Champion Issues Major Health Update: “Taking It Day By Day”

Recent WWE Signee Admits They Previously Postponed Offer Due To Pandemic

A former WWE United States Champion has provided an injury update.

Injuries are a part and parcel of professional wrestling and are far more frequent than expected. Over the years, several superstars have suffered major injuries, some of which have even forced retirement. Recently, a former WWE United States Champion opened up about his health.

Apollo Crews has been sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle for quite some time now. He has been dealing with the injury since February, when he successfully underwent surgery. Now, he has taken to Instagram to provide an update, revealing that he has been doing well with rehab.

Been crushin the rehab. Feeling good. I never really had any physical pain, but it took a while to get my mental game right after the injury happened. I’m over that hump now. Just waking up taking it day by day and putting in the work,”

It’s great to know that Crews is recovering quickly. Hopefully, fans will get to see him back in action soon, as it has been quite some time since his last match.

Apollo Crews’ last WWE appearance was back in January

He may have announced his surgery in February, but Apollo Crews’ last appearance in WWE was back in January. The former United States Champion was last seen in action on the January 24, 2025, episode of SmackDown. In the episode, he faced Johnny Gargano.

It was a big night for Crews, as he picked up a victory over the DIY member. Unfortunately, it was shortly after this that he announced his pectoral injury. At the end of the day, Crews is an incredible athlete and, as mentioned earlier, will be back at some point in time.
