Former WWE Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, collectively known as The Good Brothers, are officially set to return to the ring on May 10, with their opponents now confirmed.
Gallows and Anderson, who were released from WWE for a second time in February 2025, will make their in-ring comeback at Maple Leaf Pro’s “Northern Rising” event, taking place at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario.
Their first match back will see them face off against David Finlay and Drilla Moloney, two current stars from NJPW and key figures in the latest incarnation of Bullet Club, known as the War Dogs.
“It’s an historic tag team match-up between two of the dominant squads from Bullet Club history! The Good Brothers were the OG tag team warlords for Bullet Club, while the War Dogs now run the roost!”
They added:
“Can old dogs learn new tricks, or will the War Dogs make them heel?”
The match is being promoted as a high-stakes encounter between Bullet Club veterans and their aggressive successors. Anderson, who had been sidelined with an injury requiring surgery, will mark his return to competition in the bout.
Which Former WWE Star Blasted The Company Over The Latest Wave Of Releases?
Former WWE star Nixon Newell publicly criticised the company over the 17 releases of talent the company made on May 2. Newell posted on social media, branding the company “f***ing insane” for releasing 17 stars at once. Newell herself has been released by the company twice, once in 2021 and again in 2024.
In recent news, it has been reported that 10 WWE non-compete clauses are set to expire.
