Former WWE United States Champion Kalisto has released a training montage ahead of his boxing debut.

Kalisto had previously taken to Twitter to post a short video clip that showed him wearing boxing gloves. In the video he used his wrestling name prior to joining WWE of Samuray Del Sol.

The former Lucha House Party star has now followed up the earlier clip with a training montage.

As with the earlier post, Kalisto added a hashtag for Triller. Triller Fight Club is the company that recently promoted the hugely successful Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren fight in April.

Kalisto joined WWE in 2013 as part of NXT. He made his television debut for the black and gold brand in May 2014. Shortly thereafter he joined fellow luchador Sin Cara to become the Lucha Dragons. Together the Dragons won the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way in September.

After joining the main roster, Kalisto would go on to win the United States Championship on two occasions.

In 2018 Kalisto joined forces with Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado creating the Lucha House Party. While the team was initially featured regularly they soon began to slide down the card. Both together and individually the group challenged for numerous titles but failed to emerge victorious.

Kalisto was released by WWE on April 15th 2021.

Triller Fight Club’s next event is scheduled to be held on June 6th. Headlining the night’s action will be two men so far undefeated in their boxing careers as Teofimo Lopez fights George Kambosos Jr. There is no official word yet when the former WWE Superstar will enter the boxing ring.
