Former WWE Superstars Announce Their “Stay” In Tony Khan’s AEW

Tony Khan Has Had Conversations To Host AEW Show In Interesting Venue

Two former WWE wrestlers recently announced their future in Tony Khan’s AEW.

At All In, The Grizzled Young Veterans appeared during the three-way World Tag-Team Championship match between The Young Bucks, FTR, and The Acclaimed. Toward the end of the match, the former WWE stars interfered and cost FTR the championships, as they sided with The Young Bucks.

On the August 31st episode of The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) attacked FTR during their match against The Undisputed Kingdom. After the attack, The Grizzled Young Veterans made their intentions known.

Let’s make something very very clear. AEW is where the best wrestle and that is exactly why we are here. And let me make something else very clear. Lads, this is the second time in one week that we have laid out the living legends.

Yes, we are bitter, and yes we have a chip on our shoulder. Cause for those many years we have been compared to you. Forced to live in your shadow, undermined by these idiot fans and their useless opinions. We are here to stay in AEW.”

Grizzled Young Veterans mark Khan’s latest hiring from WWE after Ricochet, who also debuted at the Casino Gauntlet match in All In.

Two Huge Title Match Confirmed For AEW All Out

With only a week left for All Out, two huge title matches have been confirmed. On the August 31st episode of Collision, it was announced Bryan Danielson would put his title and career on the line against Jack Perry in Chicago.

The main event of the night also saw Hikaru Shida defeat Thunder Rosa, Queen Aminata, and Serena Deeb to claim her spot against Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship at All Out.
