Former WWE Superstar Makes Shocking IMPACT Debut [SPOILER]

A former WWE Tag Team Champion has made a stunning return to television after they made their debut for IMPACT Wrestling.

Charlie Haas began his wrestling career in the mid-nineties, frequently teaming with his brother Russ. Together the brothers were signed to developmental deals with WWE before Russ tragically died at the age of 27 after suffering heart failure.

Charlie Haas continued his career and was soon called up to the main roster in WWE on Boxing Day 2002 as Paul Heyman introduced Haas and his new tag team partner Shelton Benjamin as Kurt Angle’s very own team.

With Benjamin, Haas won tag team gold in the company twice before later winning the WWE Tag Team Championship again with his unlikely partner, Rico.

Since leaving WWE in 2010 Charlie Haas continued to compete in the ring, most notably for Ring Of Honor. Teaming up again with Benjamin, the duo won the ROH Tag Team Championship on two occasions during their time in that company. Haas has remained a fixture on the independent scene, most notably in the state of Texas.

Now it looks like Charlie Haas could well be part of IMPACT Wrestling after the star competed at their recent television tapings held in Haas’ stomping ground of Texas. Lucha Libre Online shared an image on social media of the 49-year-old making his entrance.

There is no word yet if Charlie Haas has signed a deal with the company or if this was a one-off appearance. To find out what Haas did at the event, keep reading but be warned, the following contains spoilers.

Charlie Haas competed in his IMPACT Wrestling debut against former IMPACT Wrestling Triple Crown winner Josh Alexander. Alexander was competing off the back of his huge win over JONAH at Hard To Kill and once again came out on top in his bout with Haas.
