On the June 6th edition of TNA iMPACT! AJ Francis, previously known as Top Dolla during his tenure in WWE, emerged victorious over Laredo Kid to clinch the TNA Wrestling Digital Media Championship.
Francis executed his signature move, the Chokeslam, to claim the title, with the support of Rich Swann on his side and the backing of content creator BDE.
This triumph stands as a significant milestone for Francis, marking his inaugural championship win in TNA Wrestling.
Prior to this encounter, Laredo Kid had attained the TNA Digital Media Championship on the Countdown to TNA Rebellion on April 20th, where he outlasted Crazzy Steve to seize the gold. His reign lasted for 28 days, during which he defended the championship on one occasion.
AJ Francis made his impactful debut in TNA at TNA Hard To Kill 2024 and has remained an integral part of the organisation ever since. Notably, he has joined forces with Rich Swann to establish the tag team, First Class.
