A former WWE Superstar made their stunning debut for IMPACT Wrestling at their recent set of tapings but was stretchered out of following their first match.
Charlie Haas made his main roster debut in WWE on Boxing Day 2002 as Paul Heyman introduced Haas and his new tag team partner Shelton Benjamin as Kurt Angle’s very own team.
With Benjamin, Haas won tag team gold in the company twice before later winning the WWE Tag Team Championship again with his unlikely partner, Rico.
Since leaving WWE in 2010 Charlie Haas continued to compete in the ring, most notably for Ring Of Honor. Teaming up again with Benjamin, the duo won the ROH Tag Team Championship on two occasions during their time in that company. Haas has remained a fixture on the independent scene, most notably in the state of Texas.
Now it looks like Charlie Haas could well be part of IMPACT Wrestling after the star competed at their recent television tapings held in Haas’ stomping ground of Texas.
Haas faced off with former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Josh Alexander at the tapings but things might have gone wrong for the 49-year-old star.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that following his first bout for IMPACT, he had to be stretchered out of the arena:
“I’m hearing Charlie Haas was stretchered out of the IMPACT tapings. Hoping he’s okay and will work to get an update”

While there is always the possibility that Haas’ injury is part of a storyline, one witness said that Charlie Haas appeared to crawl partially under the ring to gain some respite and appeared dazed.
