Former WWE Star Signs With NWA

Velveteen Dream EC3

During last weekend’s Nuff Said pre-show, a former WWE star announced they had signed a deal with NWA.

Speaking with May Valentine in the build-up to NWA’s latest event, EC3 shared the news that he would be joining and is bringing Control Your Narrative with him.

Since being released by WWE in 2020, EC3 has released promotional content across social media and has recently spoken of the “misinformation” surrounding the creation of CYN brand.

WWE Star Promises To Help Industry Recover Their Passion

Discussing his return, EC3 stated that he will help those in the wrestling industry to recover their passion as he looks to establish himself in the company.

Despite only announcing the contract during the pre-show, EC3 defeated Kevin Kiley later in the night. Showcasing his intent to dominate the company.

After a feud with Thom Latimer last August, EC3 has appeared occasionally at events and on NWA Power.

EC3 has had two spells in NXT, either side of seeing success in Impact Wrestling. His most recent time in WWE saw a move to Raw in April 2019 but was released a year later due to WWE making cutbacks during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Following the release, EC3 started to release a series of videos online, building up toward hosting his own event called Free The Narrative, in which he defeated Matt Cardona.

Cardona looks set to be making a return to WWE, joining his real-life wife Chelsea Green. Green broke the record for being eliminated in the quickest time at this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble, followed by defeats on both Raw and Smackdown.
