Former WWE Star Recalls “Making It His Mission” To Bully The Great Khali

By Liam Wyatt. Published 25th July 2021.

Dylan Postl, formerly known as Hornswoggle, has spoken of how he bullied The Great Khali during his time in WWE.

The two superstars were polar opposites in terms of height, with Postl 4ft 5in and Khali a staggering 7ft 1.

But this seemingly didn’t deter Postl who, speaking with the Such Good Shoot podcast, discussed how he had specifically targeted the WWE Hall of Famer:

Him and I, I bullied the hell out of him, legitimately bullied him, where in this day and age I’d be frowned upon. Just because I was like, ‘Hey, if there’s a target that I’m going to pick, it’s going to be him.’ Because why go for like Primo or Epico when I can bully The Great Khali? I made it my mission every week. When I wasn’t booked I was just in the locker room just bullying him.

Postl also discussed how the pair used to travel together to live events, suggesting that his ribbing of Khali was meant in good humour.

The pair were often booked to work alongside each other on WWE television, forming a regular alliance with one half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Natalya.

To hear more from Postl, check out Inside the Ropes’ exclusive interview with the former Hornswoggle here.

With thanks to Sportskeeda for the transcript.
