Former WWE Star Officially Joins TNA

TNA has confirmed the signing of a wrestler that WWE fans will be very familiar with.

As announced on February 28th via press release, Elijah is officially a member of the roster one week on from his shock debut on Impact.

On the February 20th edition of the show, which aired live from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, the former Elias came to the aid of World Champion Joe Hendry, who was about to be attacked by The Colons. Elijah and Hendry teamed up later in the show to face The Colons and were victorious in the main event.

The new signee will make his pay-per-view debut for the promotion on March 14th as he will team with Hendry, Matt Hardy and 2 partners to be determined to take on The Colons and The System. Jeff Hardy will also be in action on the show as he will compete in a ladder match.

Fightful Select initially reported the signing shortly after Elijah made his debut on Impact with the pro wrestling promotion making the news official 1 week later.

The former Elias was prominently featured in WWE with musical numbers taking place most weeks. Sharing the ring with the likes of John Cena and The Undertaker, The Drifter had a number of standout moments before being released from his contract in September 2023.

Along with former WWE stars making their presence felt on camera, there is also a notable name behind the scenes that has been working for the company. According to a recent report, a legendary former WWE Champion is now working as a TNA producer.
