Batista isn’t the only WWE Superstar to have crossed over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with this ex-Tag Team Champion starring in a new hit Disney+ show!

A number of WWE Superstars, both current and former, have ventured into the world of acting, from WWE Hall of Famers such as Hulk Hogan and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin to current main roster stalwarts like Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch. Joining them is David ‘A-List’ Otunga.

The former Nexus man was recently featured on Disney+’s She-Hulk: Attorney At Law show, appearing in the episode titled ‘Is This Not Real Magic?’ Otunga played an unnamed character who is the first in a series of dates attended by She-Hulk, played by Tatiana Maslany.

This is hardly David Otunga’s first foray into acting, however, as he first appeared in 2007’s I Love New York 2 as a ‘punk’. Subsequent roles for the two-time WWE Tag Team Champion include in Sandy Wexler as an unnamed reporter, A Madea Family Funeral as Will, and the Family Time episode ‘Work, Wife, Unhappy Life?’, where he played Alvin.

Acting is among Otunga’s post-wrestling roles. Having retired in 2015, he’s since worked for WWE in a variety of roles, most notably as a full-time commentator on both Raw and SmackDown.

Throughout his career, David Otunga’s work wasn’t particularly well-liked. He was named Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Most Hated Wrestler of 2010 as a member of The Nexus, as well as the 2016 Worst Television Announcer by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
