Former WWE Star Makes ROH Debut

Former WWENXT Superstar Cal Bloom, previously known as Von Wagner, made his Ring of Honor debut on the 3rd April episode of ROH on HonorClub.

Bloom teamed with Deonn Rusman in a losing effort against the Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). His tag partner, Rusman, is a graduate of Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Academy.

Bloom was a prominent figure in NXT before his release in 2024. He is the son of former WWF and WCW star Wayne Bloom, who wrestled as Beau Beverly in the 1990s. His ROH appearance comes just over a year after his final NXT match, where he lost to Lexis King on 2nd April 2024.

Since leaving WWE, Bloom has remained active in the wrestling scene. He made his post-WWE debut on 15th March at a Midwest All-Star Wrestling event, securing a victory over Shay Diesel. Additionally, he recently appeared on AEW Dynamite in a non-wrestling role as a security guard.

In other ROH news, Tony Khan has announced a brand new championship for the brand.
