Former WWE Star Confirms Free Agency

Former WWE Star Confirms Free Agency

A recently released WWE star has officially confirmed their free agency following the expiration of their 90-day non-compete clause.

Tegan Nox, now once again going by her real name Nixon Newell, announced on social media that she is free to work with any promotion as of January 30. The former WWE Superstar kept her message short and direct, simply posting:

“Free agent.”

The post included a comic book-style image of herself and an email address for booking inquiries, signalling her readiness for future opportunities in the wrestling world.

Nox was one of three names confirmed to have left the promotion in November 2024. Baron Corbin, now known as Bishop Dyer, became a free agent at the start of the year after his contract expired. Meanwhile, Nox and Indi Hartwell were subject to the company’s standard 90-day non-compete clause following their releases.

With her free agency now official, speculation has begun about where Nox could land next. Potential landing spots include a return to the independent wrestling scene, a debut in AEW, or even a reunion with former WWE stars in TNA.

What Did Former WWE Star Indi Hartwell Say About Possibly Wrestling Again?

The former Indi Hartwell spoke about her wrestling future in response to fans’ questions about whether she will continue to wrestle following her recent release. Hartwell responded that while she doesn’t know what the future holds, she believes that at just 28 years old, she has plenty of wrestling left in her.

Recently Nixon Newell spoke about how serious medical issues kept her from wrestling in WWE.
