Former WWE Star Calls Out Bobby Lashley For Future Match

Bobby Lashley in WWE

Former World Champion Bobby Lashley is rumoured to be looking for greener pastures and has already found a challenge from an ex-WWE star.

With a decorated MMA and wrestling career, The Almighty One is now expected to move past the Stamford-based promotion once his contract expires. However, this has attracted some attention from a previous WWE superstar.

Sharing on his X (Twitter) account, former Intercontinental Champion Matt Cardona aka Zack Ryder issued a challenge for Lashley. He claimed:

Bobby Lashley killed Zack Ryder. Matt Cardona would like to thank him…in a GCW ring!

Lashley and Cardona last faced each other in 2020 with the former picking up a quick victory. Since then, Cardona has left the promotion and reinvented himself.

With newfound motivation, the former tag-team Champion is now looking to avenge himself. Jinder Mahal recently made his GCW debut, and Cardona looks forward to facing the former Hurt Business leader inside a GCW ring.

Bobby Lashley Rumoured To Join Tony Khan’s AEW

The latest reports from PWN and Fightful Select suggest Lashley join hands with AEW upon his contract expiry. Alongside Lashley, MVP is also rumoured to part ways with their current promotion, with an in-ring return rumoured for MVP.
