A budding pro wrestler just bought their first home. This former WWE star was released by the company on May 2, 2025.
Earlier this year, NXT’s Cora Jade was released as part of a larger round of budget cuts by WWE and UFC’s parent company, TKO Group Holdings. Jade, 24, allegedly had attitude problems. She made her own statements post-release, claiming that officials backstage and colleagues had body-shamed her, all of which may have contributed to her exit. Be that as it may, no official reason was provided.
Cora Jade has since started using the name Elayna Black and stated that she hopes to rejuvenate her love for pro wrestling, and in order to get there, she needed some time off to be in a better space mentally. At this time, Black is unsure if her passion for the sport will be reignited. However, she has also noted that she wants to wrestle permanently.
The 24-year-old was open to opportunities from other promotions, like AEW, or even a future return to WWE. Meanwhile, something positive happened in her personal life, which she has now shared with the public.
Former WWE Star Cora Jade (aka Elayna Black) Has Bought A Home: “Life Is Good”
Taking to Instagram, Elayna Black shared the news in her stories with a photograph of a palm tree and the roof of what may be her brand new home in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The picture covered more of the beautiful blue sky, with a short and sweet message from the young athlete. She also put up another story thanking her realtor.
Bought my first house yesterday 🥲. Life is good,” Black wrote.

Wrestling fans are well aware of the close relationship the former Cora Jade has with WWE’s popular real-life couple, AJ Lee and CM Punk. Lee made her return to television after a decade on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. This has got people wondering if their “other daughter” will eventually find her way back to the sports entertainment capital.
After her WWE release, Black spoke fondly of CM Punk, who always supported her and gave her good advice.
