Former WWE Star Baron Corbin’s Next Wrestling Match Announced

Baron Corbin Explains Why He Was Hesitant Over WWE Partnership

Former WWE star Baron Corbin has his next wrestling match confirmed.

Last year, just a few hours before the November 1st episode of SmackDown, a report from Fightful Select and PWInsider informed the fans about Baron Corbin, Tegan Nox, and Indi Hartwell’s tragic exit from WWE.

While WWE let Nox and Hartwell go, the promotion decided not to renew Corbin, aka Tom Pestock’s contract. Now, after almost two months of the unfortunate news, Pestock has been announced for his first wrestling match in almost three months. He last wrestled Giovanni Vinci in a SmackDown dark match on 18th October 2024.

Tom Pestock is now all set to compete for Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) against Josh Barnett in a Bloodsport Match at The People vs. GCW on January 19th. The show is scheduled to be held at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Responding to the announcement, Pestock replied to the tweet and claimed,

“Grit your teeth and protect your neck!!”

The 2019 King of the Ring is also a Gold Globe boxer and a jiu-jitsu competitor, and has even played in the NFL. His January 19th GCW appearance shall mark his first wrestling match since his WWE departure.

WWE Raw On Netflix Second Episode Set To Undergo A Few Changes

After a massive Netflix premiere, Raw is set to undergo a major few changes ahead of its second episode. In a report by Wrestlevotes on X(Twitter), it was noted that,

Tonight’s RAW from San Jose will showcase what Mondays on Netflix will typically feel like, compared to last week’s big premiere. Expect some changes in visuals, as the Intuit Dome’s advanced technology isn’t present everywhere. Tonight should still retain that fresh, new vibe tho.”
