Former WWE NXT Champion “Very Confident” Main Roster Call-Up Will Happen Soon

Former WWE NXT Champion

A top WWE NXT star believes that it is only a matter of time before they are a permanent member of the Raw or SmackDown roster.

With just a few days to go until the 2025 Royal Rumble, multiple stars from the developmental roster are expected to make appearances in each of the respective Rumble matches. With Tiffany Stratton and Bron Breakker receiving their call-ups not long after their own Rumble appearances, fans are expecting to see some fresh faces shortly after the Rumble and WrestleMania 41.

Having his breakout year in 2024, Trick Williams reigned twice with the NXT Championship and has been consistently presented as one of the top stars on the brand. Receiving one of the loudest reactions each week, many believe that Williams is ready to compete to the mainstream audience.

While appearing on Tailgate Talks with DiMarco and Garcia, Williams was asked when he thinks the main roster call-up will happen:

“I’m very confident. I think it has to be soon. I’ve been very blessed, very fortunate. For the career that I wish I had in football, I got it tenfold with my wrestling career. I’m grateful for that. As is comes to NXT, there is not much better than the Trick Williams experience as NXT goes. With that being said, I would like to think the main roster call to be sometime soon,”
