After repeated losses, a former NXT Champion is now on his way to stem cell therapy.
After losing his Intercontinental championship to Bron Breakker at SummerSlam 2024, and then again in a two-out-of-three falls match, Sami Zayn went on a hiatus from WWE. On the 19th August episode of RAW, Jey Uso confirmed Zayn’s absence.
However, recently, RejuvStem, a full-service regenerative medical institution posted a video on Instagram of Zayn alongside Ivar, confirming their upcoming stem cell therapy. Ivar has been missing from action for the past few months, and now Zayn has joined his team.
The caption read:
You never know who is going to show up here at RejuvStem Cancun! Today we have WWE Superstar Sami Zayn joining Ivar to receive stem cell therapy for a career’s worth of nagging injuries.
Each superstar has spent over 20 years respectfully performing all around the world. At this stage of their respective careers, both IVAR as well as SAMI recognize the importance of taking care of their bodies so they can continue performing for the WWE Universe for years to come.”
Pro wrestling takes a severe toll on the body, and as RejuvStem confirmed both Ivar and Zayn have decided to go ahead and treat their physical health before stepping foot inside the squared circle.
As of now, there are no confirmed details on both Zayn and Ivar’s return date, but we hope to see them in their best physical state. Zayn is a multi-time champion in the Stamford-based promotion, having won several titles including the NXT and Intercontinental championships, and we hope to see more from him.
Everyone at Inside The Ropes sends our best wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery.
