A former WWE Divas Champion has recalled her nixed heel turn plans.
Last wrestling for WWE in 2018, Kaitlyn enjoyed a brief, successful run at the promotion from 2010 to 2014. Former Divas Champion Kaitlyn, aka Celeste Bonin, is vividly remembered by fans for over rivalry against AJ Lee.
Recently, during an interview MuscleManMalcolm, Kaitlyn opened up about WWE’s nixed plans of turning her heel and joining the ‘Divas of Doom’. The WWE Divas Of Doom were made up of Natalya and Beth Phoenix, who began teaming up in 2010.
WWE had once produced a segment showing Kaitlyn’s heel turn and partnership with Natalya and Phoenix; however, this segment was never aired. Recalling the incident, Kaitlyn said,
“I forget about this sometimes, but the Divas of Doom never actually actually became anything. It was like a cool idea between Nattie and Beth, and I was in a super in-between phase of my career at that time. So I was just trying to figure out who I was and where I fit.
So, yeah, we had a whole match and a heel turn and a whole thing that was supposed to start like a new era, a new idea, a new storyline. It just, I think that maybe Vince didn’t like it or something, or it just got cut for time. I don’t even know what happened, but I remember being kind of disappointed about it. But stuff like that happened all the time, which is kind of the nature of it.”

Kaitlyn’s last wrestling match was at an Indie event in 2019.
