A former champion is concerned over his WWE WrestleMania 41 status.
Last competing against Oba Femi and Austin Theory for the NXT Championship at WWE Vengeance Day 2025, Grayson Waller has not been under the limelight much since then. Although he and Theory were recently involved in a segment against Jey Uso on Raw. Waller has also wrestled a few times on Main Event since then.
Last year at WrestleMania 40, A-Town Down Under won the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship in the Six-Pack Ladder Match. However, with no concrete storyline or booking ideas ahead for him, the Australian wrestler has expressed his concerns.
In a post on Twitter/X, Grayson Waller opened up on his thoughts about Mania 41, and wants to “do something” and get involved in it.
“So I’m about to fly out of Vegas, heading to one of the worst places in America, Buffalo. Freezing cold, don’t really want to go, but I had a great weekend, got to see some mates in Allegiant Stadium, the home of WrestleMania 41. It kind of made me think about WrestleMania last year. Best night of my life, A-Town Down Under, on top of the ladder, winning the tag team champions. Gotta admit, I got a little bit addicted to that feeling.
So when I look at the landscape, WrestleMania 41, where does Grayson Waller fit in all that? To be honest, I don’t really know. It kind of hits. That hits hard. I could be like some of the other flop wrestlers in the WWE. I could bitch and moan and complain online. I could even run to ‘journalists,’ and I use that term very lightly, to talk about how ‘I’m not getting any opportunities. Or I could do something about it. I think I’m going to do something about it [laughs].”

Grayson Waller Believes We Are Yet To See The ‘Real CM Punk’ In WWE
A couple of weeks ago, in an interview with Gabby AF, Grayson Waller shared his thoughts about ‘The Second City Saint’, CM Punk.
“I still don’t think we’ve seen the real CM Punk back in WWE yet. I understand what he’s trying to do. He’s trying to make sure that his reputation has improved. ‘I’m so happy to be here. I love the fans! Thanks for everything!’ I know the truth. Punk wants to be champion. Punk wants to be the guy. He wants to main event WrestleMania and do whatever it takes. I just can’t wait for the day that he shows that and I’m proven right.”
