After a brief absence, Rhea Ripley has made her return to WWE. During the November 11th tapings for next week’s Raw in Grand Rapids.
Ripley appeared wearing a noseguard and launched a surprise attack on current WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, the confrontation quickly escalated into a brawl, bringing multiple women into the fray and possibly hinting at a larger showdown for Survivor Series: WarGames later this month.
Ripley wasn’t alone in standing tall by the end of the chaos; alongside her were Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Naomi, and IYO SKY. Together, they overpowered Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Nia Jax, suggesting a potential lineup for an anticipated WarGames match. Ripley’s comeback follows an intense storyline that saw her written off television on the October 29th episode of NXT, where she was left bloodied in the parking lot.
In that scene, Morgan and Rodriguez walked away from the scene with baseball bats, leaving WWE personnel to tend to Ripley. Behind the scenes, Ripley was recovering from a fractured orbital bone she sustained in October, which initially had no clear timetable for recovery.
This isn’t the first time Ripley’s momentum has been interrupted this year. Earlier, she was sidelined for three months due to a shoulder injury, just as she was vying to regain the Women’s World Championship. Although Ripley has yet to reclaim the title, her latest return signals she’s ready to re-enter the championship scene and settle her unfinished business.
What Did Rhea Ripley Say Was The WWE Women’s Division’s Biggest Struggle?
Rhea Ripley spoke about the WWE Women’s Division’s biggest struggles and triumphs and said that the biggest struggle was getting people to take women seriously as competitors and that for a long time, people would joke about women’s matches being the “toilet break” matches, but she thinks that they are on the right path now and that it is only getting better.
In a further update, more pre-taped WWE shows are on the way.
