A former WWE Champion is back.
At Survivor Series on November 30th, Bron Breakker defended his Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus. Successfully retaining his gold against Kaiser and The Celtic Warrior, Breakker stood out victorious.
However, while Kaiser came out tired from the match, the Irish wrestler was sidelined with a cracked rib. Later, Kaiser took the credit for injuring the former champion, he met his fate tonight on the December 30th edition of Raw.
While The Imperium member cut a promo demanding a shot at Breakker’s IC title, a returning Sheamus would cut him short. Halting Kaiser’s promo, Sheamus stormed down the ring and dropped him with a Brogue kick.
It is still unclear when the two might face each other, all directions now point toward a showdown at the January 25th Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Before his injury, the former multi-time champion enjoyed an eventful year, with several iconic feuds and championship pursuits. With only one day left for the year to end, Sheamus has already found a strong start to 2025.
