A former WWE champion has returned.

The 2nd December episode of Raw has turned out to be a night of returns. Earlier in the night, fans witnessed the shocking return of Big E during The New Day’s 10th anniversary. And, later after the main event, another former WWE Champion returned.

As Seth Rollins defeated Sami Zayn via roll-up, fans witnessed Drew McIntyre return and take out Sami Zayn with a Claymore. Jey Uso was also attacked backstage just moments before the main event match.

Fearing the attacker to be Rollins, Zayn would lose his calm and almost hit him with a steel chair. Taking advantage, fans witnessed Rollins roll Zayn up and secure the victory. Asking Zayn to use his head next time, Drew McIntyre would then attack the former Intercontinental Champion.

While The Scottish Psychopath returned to Raw after Bad Blood, he has not yet been revealed as Uso’s backstage attacker. McIntyre and CM Punk finished their rivalry on a bloody note at the Bad Blood PLE, and the returning star might now be after Zayn or possibly Jey Uso.

Following the shock return, Drew McIntyre has issued a statement.

The New Day’s 10th Anniversary On WWE Raw Ends Emotionally

The second hour of the 2nd December episode of Raw began with The New Day’s 10th anniversary. While fans expected Woods and Kingston to break up, they instead became closer.

Seemingly turning heel, The New Day kicked former member Big E out of the group and berated him for his injury. As a teary-eyed Big E walked away, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods transitioned into a much more pressing side.
