A former WWE Champion is no longer beefing with Nikki Bella.
A few days ago at the Clash in Paris pre-show, former Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett made certain comments about Nikki Bella’s WWE career. However, the comments were not received well by Bella, who later opened up about it during her and Brie Bella’s podcast, The Nikki and Brie Show.
I would love to have a conversation with Wade Barrett. He avoided me on Monday, which was shocking because he always comes up and says ‘Hi’ to me. He tried to avoid making eye contact with me at the hallway,” Nikki said.
Soon, Barrett responded to Bella’s statements on X(Twitter). However, a few hours later, the former wrestler and current commentator opened up on the situation and cleared the air about his rumored beef with Nikki Bella:
Great news, fight fans.. @NikkiAndBrie and I have spoken, we’ve smoothed things over, and I’ve graciously been allowed back into the Bella Army. Fully paid-up member since FCW 2008 A difference of perspective – to which we are all entitled – but to be clear, some of the personal abuse that gets sent to Nikki on here is reprehensible and completely out of line, so let’s cut that out immediately.”
Bella was last seen involved in a feud against Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Clash in Paris.
Nikki Bella Turned Down This Special WWE Privilege
Earlier this year, while speaking to the Toronto Sun, WWE veteran Natalya revealed that Nikki Bella had turned down the privilege of having a private locker room.
So yesterday, in the locker room, they wanted to get Nikki her own locker room. They were like, we’re going to get Nikki Bella her own room, she’s going to have her own space, we’ll put a fruit tray in there and all this stuff that she wanted. She goes, ‘No. I don’t want to change in my own locker room.’
This is what I love about Nikki, she goes, ‘I want to change with the rest of the girls.’ She’s like, ‘I want to be in the locker room with the rest of the girls because that’s the most special place to be. It’s about being with the girls.’ I love that. So she was in the locker room with us, it’s a very sacred place.”
“It was so fun because she was in the locker room. The girls just loved seeing her. It was just like she was right back in the groove, like she hadn’t missed a beat. So, that’s the thing that people don’t see behind the scenes of what we do, it’s a sisterhood.
We don’t all have to love each other, we don’t all have to get along 24/7, but at the end of the day, we’re a group of women that really love and respect each other and Nikki understood that. She didn’t want her own room, she wanted to be with us. I love that and I made sure that she looked perfect before she went out.”
