Former WWE Champion Moved From SmackDown To Raw

Another major name has been moved from SmackDown to WWE Raw as part of the Talent Transfer Window.

As announced by General Manager Adam Pearce during the February 3rd episode of Raw, AJ Styles is now a member of the red brand’s roster in what was one of the final talent transfers to take place before the window closed over Royal Rumble weekend.

Styles did not appear on the show following the news but will be making his first TV appearance of 2025 on the February 10th Raw in Nashville.

The Phenomenal One made his surprise return in the Royal Rumble match at number 21. Styles was eliminated from the match by Logan Paul after the social media star pulled Styles off the apron. It was speculated earlier in the day that the 2-time WWE Champion was set to switch brands.

Styles had been out for 3 months after suffering a foot injury in a match against Carmelo Hayes in early October that ended in referee stoppage.

WWE Talent Transfer Window Concludes

Beginning in December, multiple stars have switched brands to shake up the rosters heading into WrestleMania. Braun Strowman, The Wyatt Sicks, Damian Priest, The Miz and Zelina Vega have all moved from Raw to SmackDown with Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, Bayley and AJ Styles all moving over from SmackDown to Raw,

While not confirmed, there is speculation that Drew McIntyre may have been moved over to SmackDown as he is reportedly set to feud with Priest at WrestleMania 41.
