Former WWE Champion Inducted Into The Prestigious Bronx Walk Of Fame

WWE Damian Priest

After years of hustle, this former WWE champion has been inducted into this prestigious Walk of Fame.

Wrestling for over two decades, multi-time champion Damian Priest joined NXT in 2018, before moving to the main roster in 2021. Priest soon became a part of The Judgment Day and remained there before Finn Balor kicked him out in 2024.

In his singles career run now, Priest is a proud former World Champion, former United States Champion, NXT North American Champion, and a multi-time tag-team champion. Boasting several title runs, Priest now finds himself a part of the 2025 inductees to the Bronx Walk of Fame.

In an article published by the Bronx Times and later announced by SmackDown announcer Joe Tessitore during Priest’s match on the 9th May episode of SmackDown, the former champion will now be inducted into the Bronx Walk of Fame and have a street named after him next week. The Archer of Infamy is also scheduled to be in a four-way match against LA Knight, Jacob Fatu, and Drew McIntyre for the United States Championship on Backlash 2025.

The 2025 inductees for the Walk of Fame are freestyle singer Judy Torres, WWE superstar Damian Priest, former NBA player Kemba Walker, and artist/social media figure Devon Rodriguez. Born in New York and raised in the Bronx, Priest finds himself on the elite list alongside several other notable figures from that area.

Damian Priest Addresses WWE WrestleMania 41 Match

Speaking with Denise Salcedo after his WrestleMania 41 match against Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest shared his honest thoughts on the bout.

“The match (at WrestleMania against Drew McIntyre), I thought we delivered. I thought for a WrestleMania match with the time we were given, we did our thing and look, our rivalry, I don’t care what anybody says, it has reason, it has story and it was heated and we had our beef and uh, you know, we went at it. We went hard too, which is what I was expecting. I know he was expecting it too and I think we had a performance worthy of a WrestleMania match and that being my first full singles match, I’m proud as hell.”
