Former WWE Champion Has Big Things Planned, Looking To Make 2025 “A Year To Be Remembered”

Former WWE Champion Has Big Things Planned, Looking To Make 2025

A WWE Hall of Famer and former World Champion is aiming to make next year even bigger than their newsworthy 2024.

Although 2024 has been a chaotic and newsworthy year, one unexpected story that has continually resurfaced is the consistent surprise appearances of John “Bradshaw” Layfield. From TNA to GCW to AAA and numerous independents, the Hall of Famer has made numerous unannounced appearances, delivered a clothesline from hell and exited without saying a word.

Discussing his many surprise appearances on the Something to Wrestle podcast, the former World Champion noted that this was something he has been looking to do for a long time and hopes to make his wrestling impact event greater the following year.

“I was thinking about that when I turned 58. I thought, ‘This is gonna be the year that some fun stuff, crazy stuff’s gonna happen’. I’ve been planning this for a while, and COVID happened and I got bored, been wanting to do some stuff in the wrestling business because it’s what I love, it’s what I always wanted to do, and now I’m getting a chance to do it. I’ve got some plans coming up, so hopefully this year will be a year to be remembered”.

Another WWE Hall Of Famer Returning To Wrestling

WWE fans are preparing for the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th at the Nassau Coliseum in New York, the same venue as the first show back in 1985. As announced ahead of time, Jesse Ventura will be making his return to commentary at the show.

In other WWE news, one champion believes they are having a “generational” title reign.
