A former WWE Champion has elaborated on if they would be interested in one more run in the company.
After being initially released from his contract in 2014, Jinder Mahal made a return to the company in 2016. Making his return and with an improved physique, The Modern Day Maharaja shockingly defeated Randy Orton at Backlash 2017 to win the WWE Championship. Remaining with the company for 7 more years, Mahal was released from his contract a second time in April 2024.
Now competing on the independents under the name Raj Dhesi, recently spoke with MuscleManMalcolm about potentially returning for one more run:
“Of course, if it makes sense creative, business-wise. There has to be enough zeros on a piece of paper for me to sign it [laughs]. But I’m just having fun. I’ve been very blessed in my career. I had a long career and I invested most of my earnings throughout my years. I became financially literate. I studied money, learned compound interest, how to invest in the S&P 500, rental properties. So now I just kind of do what I want and have fun. But again, if it makes sense business-wise or something interesting creative-wise then definitely.”
