Former WWE Champion Big E Announces Engagement

Big E Teases Involvement In Future Netflix Project:

Former WWE Champion Big E is officially engaged.

The Superstar shared the news on Instagram on Monday, revealing his engagement to Kris Yim, the sister of Michin (Mia Yim). In his post, Big E included photos of the couple and the engagement ring, expressing his joy and gratitude for the moment.

“I can’t wait to be your husband, @krisyim. Thank you, @lastsuppersociety, for making this day perfect,” he wrote.

The two have been dating for the past year. The announcement was warmly received by fans and fellow wrestlers alike.

Big E has been sidelined since 2022, after suffering a serious neck injury during a match on SmackDown when he took an overhead belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland. The injury required extensive recovery, and while he has not returned to in-ring competition, Big E has remained active within the company in a broadcast capacity, regularly appearing on pre-shows and post-shows for premium live events.

In a 2023 interview, he stated that he was “at peace” with the possibility of never wrestling again, focusing instead on health and life outside the ring.

He was also recently written out of The New Day storyline, with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turning heel and ejecting him from the group in December 2024. The duo has since continued as a villainous tag team.

Which Upcoming Video Game Did Big E Recently Partner With?

Big E recently partnered with Bethesda and id Software to promote the upcoming video game “Doom: The Dark Ages”. The former New Day member was featured in a video and was seen with a shield and opening up about his experience playing the game. He urged players to pre-order and to play the upcoming title.
