Former WWE Champion Believes The Promotion Is “Better” When They Are In Charge

Roman Reigns and CM Punk in WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series

A former WWE Champion has shared his thoughts about the promotion.

In less than a week, Roman Reigns is scheduled to take on CM Punk and Seth Rollins in a triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41. While the rivalry dates back several years, their recent differences have led to the current stage of their feud.

While recently on the 14th April episode of Raw, Rollins discussed why the business will be dead if either Reigns or Punk wins at WrestleMania 41, The Tribal Chief recently had something contradictory to say.

In a new build up video posted by WWE on YouTube, Reigns called both Punk and Rollins “pieces of s**t”, before claiming that it should be him in charge of the promotion.

“They’re both pieces of shit. There ain’t no f***ing question this place is better when I’m in charge.”

Roman Reigns Has Opened Up On His Career Shift Post WWE WrestleMania XL Loss

Last year at WrestleMania XL, Reigns lost his Championship to Cody Rhodes. It marked the start of a new era for Reigns. While he lost his title, he later also lost his Ula Fala, Bloodline, and now his Wiseman Paul Heyman. In a promo, uploaded on social media, Roman Reigns opened up on this major career shift.

“It’s funny how much a year can change. This time last year I was untouchable. I should have tightened my grip around this company’s neck. There was a wise man that taught me diplomacy. ‘You gotta think politically’, I tried to help everyone. Most of them don’t understand what a helping hand really looks like. What that really feels like. What do I get for it? Netflix. TKO. The mainstream. Billion dollar deals and somehow I’m out on my ass.

I lift everybody up and somehow no one’s got enough respect to just be true to their Tribal Chief. My father didn’t agree with me. He used to say, son why do you care if they respect you? Why do you care if they acknowledge your talent and your contribution? Lessons learned.”
