Monday Night RAW is about to get a taste of brutality as former NXT and NXT UK Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is headed to the red brand!
The announcement was made on the post-Elimination Chamber RAW after Riddle successfully fended off John Morrison in the show’s opening match. In a short teaser video, Rhea was seen performing her signature pose whilst a montage of clips from her NXT matches flew by. The teaser ended with a graphic of the Australian’s logo alongside text announcing that she is “coming soon” to Monday nights!
Ripley has some history with RAW, having appeared on the program several times last year during her WrestleMania feud with Charlotte Flair – which ultimately ended with Ripley losing her NXT Women’s Championship to ‘The Queen’ at the Showcase Of The Immortals. During that time Ripley had just one match on the red brand, defeating Sarah Logan in just 37 seconds on February 10th 2020 edition.
COMING SOON to #WWERaw

‘The Nightmare’ has had what can only be described as a meteoric rise since debuting in the first Mae Young Classic four years ago. Becoming the first-ever NXT UK Women’s Champion before losing the title to Toni Storm at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, Ripley moved over to NXT – becoming a key player on the black and gold brand by ending Shayna Baszler‘s dominant second reign as NXT Women’s Champion.
Ripley would appear in the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble and featured in sporadic feuds throughout 2020 after losing NXT’s top female prize, making her final appearance at NXT New Year’s Evil last month where she fell to Raquel Gonzalez. Most recently, she made a shock appearance in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble and almost won the match, making it to the final two before being eliminated by Bianca Belair.
It is currently unknown when exactly Ripley will be making her RAW return nor are there any indications of potential feuds or storylines for ‘The Nightmare’ upon her arrival.
