With a WWE Raw Superstar seemingly being sent back down to NXT, he’s been greeted by his former tag team partner!
Reports of Veer Mahaan being sent back to NXT have been joined by the news that he’s reunited with Sanga, his old partner from Indus Sher. The two reunited during a live event in Citrus Springs, Florida, defeating Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward of Chase U.
This marked the first time the duo has teamed together since WWE’s Superstar Spectacle event in January 2021, where they tagged with Drew McIntyre to defeat Jinder Mahal and The Bollywood Boyz. They have, however, since being aligned on the main roster, joining Mahal in the summer of 2021.
First teaming together on the NXT live event circuit from September 2018 onwards, Veer and Sanga eventually made their way to NXT programming in 2020 for a brief run as Indus Sher, where they were managed by Malcolm Bivens. Their last encounter of this run aired on the black-and-gold brand’s 10 June 2020 broadcast.
It’s unknown if this will be a full-time reunion of the duo. If so, they join an already-stacked doubles division in NXT with plenty of behemoth pairings to collide with, including The Creed Brothers and Gallus.
