WWE Bad Blood was the night of returns, as another former Champion returned to cost Rhea Ripley her shot at Liv Morgan’s title.
The second final match of the night saw Rhea Ripley challenge Liv Morgan for her WWE Women’s World Champion as Dominik Mysterio hung above in a shark cage. Throughout the match, Ripley dominated the bout and was close to winning when Mysterio’s door opened and he almost fell out of it.
With his feet tied up in a pair of chains, Mysterio hung in mid-air, as a distracted Ripley launched an ambush on her former lover with a kendo stick. The attack continued as the referee attended Liv Morgan when a returning Raquel Rodriguez made the save.
Rodriguez and Morgan were former Women’s Tag-Team Champions, and the two finally reunited after months. Raquel Rodriguez was sidelined earlier this year as she suffered from mast cell activation syndrome with her last match against Chelsea Green in February 2024.
Now after several months of absence, Rodriguez has finally returned as a heel and aligned with Morgan and The Judgment Day. The match ended in a disqualification as Morgan automatically retained her championship.
Fans need to wait till RAW, to see what unfolds next for the ongoing feud involving Morgan, Ripley, and Rodriguez.
