According to a new report, a former champion is set to return on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw after months away from television.
Alexa Bliss hasn’t been seen on WWE television since competing inside the Elimination Chamber in the event of the same name in February. That bout was Bliss’ first since September 2021 after being defeated by Charlotte Flair.
In the weeks leading up to Elimination Chamber, the former Raw Women’s Champion returned to WWE television where she appeared in a number of backstage ‘therapy sessions’ in an effort to control her anger.
Bliss and Ryan Cabrera, who have been engaged since November 2020, celebrated their wedding last month and exchanged vows in a ceremony at Kempa Villa in Palm Desert, California on April 9th. The former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion danced with members of the band NSYNC at her reception that also featured performances from Bowling for Soup and Yellow Card.
Now, a new report from Fightful Select indicates that Little Miss Bliss is set to return on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, where she is scheduled to face Sonya DeVille. The news comes after another Fightful Select report last month that states Bliss was frustrated with her creative direction within the company and voiced concerns following Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia.
Tonight’s episode will also see Cody Rhodes challenge Theory for the United States Champion after the American Nightmare defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania Backlash.
