On the 21st August episode of AEW Dynamite, a former World champion announced his entry into the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In 2024.
Scheduled to take place at All In 2024 in London, the Casino Gauntlet match guarantees the winner a shot at the World Championship. With Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, and Kyle O’Reilly confirmed for the bout, a former World Champion Page announced his entrance.
During a backstage segment with Renee Paquette, the ‘Hangman’ Adam Page confirmed his appearance. After a discussion with Tony Khan, Adam Page found himself a step closer to his feud against Swerve Strickland and his gold.
Page and Strickland share a long rivalry, and Page finally wants to settle the account and take the championship home. The former champion warned of severe repercussions to anyone trying to get in between his chance at a shot at Strickland’s championship.
However, the segment concluded with Page attacking his former friend ‘Evil Uno’ with repeated chair shots, as the latter announced his involvement in the Casino Gauntlet match as well.
WWE Reportedly Interested To Sign AEW Star To NXT
According to a recent report from Fightful Select, WWE is ‘significantly interested’ in bringing AEW star Ricky Starks to NXT once his contract expires. However, the exact date and details of his current AEW contract are still not known.
President of the Jacksonville-based promotion, Tony Khan had previously refuted rumors of Stark’s contract expiry in March. However, some latest reports suggest the former FTW champion’s contract could have expired in July, although it is not confirmed yet.
