Former AEW Women’s Champion Declares Suffering From “Concussion”

Injured AEW Star Was Reportedly Backstage At All Out

A former AEW Women’s Champion recently shared suffering through concussion.

Concussions are one of the most common and serious pro-wrestling injuries, and a popular AEW star recently fell victim to it. Inaugural AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa is currently on a hiatus from wrestling and shared the reason for it recently.

During the recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Rosa revealed that she is currently sidelined with a concussion, and will be out of action for a few more weeks. The former champion was last seen in action during the 31st August edition of Collision against Hikaru Shida, Queen Aminata, and Serena Deeb.

On the podcast, she shared the gravity of the injury, and how one should immediately take care of it.

If you feel like you have a concussion, make sure you stop. Don’t get in there. It’s not worth it. I can tell you, I’m right now, I’m suffering a concussion, so I’m gonna be out for a little bit, for a couple weeks.”

September is also Concussion Awareness Month, and Rosa intends to research the injury more.

We at Inside The Ropes hope and pray for her steady recovery.

The Briscoes are the best tag team of the past 25 years, and on a short list for best of all time. At least a dozen top wrestlers today will tell you the best/toughest tag matches of their careers were with Dem Boys. I wouldn’t be here without them. I miss you Jay. Love you Mark.”
