Former AEW & TNA Wrestler Latest To Be Signed As WWE ID Prospect

Former AEW wrestler Kylie Rae has been unveiled as the latest addition to WWE’s ID program.

The announcement was made Thursday night during an independent wrestling event hosted by Freelance Wrestling, where WWE employee Gabe Sapolsky praised Rae on the social media platform X, calling her “the best worker on the indies.”

Rae, a founding member of AEW’s women’s division in 2019, gained significant attention before departing from the promotion later that year at her request. Her transition to WWE’s ID program marks a significant career move as she joins a growing pool of independent wrestlers identified for their potential.

The WWE ID program, designed to spotlight and develop emerging independent wrestling talent, now boasts 17 prospects. While participants are not under full-time WWE contracts, they receive financial support and access to training resources to enhance their skills.

The latest roster of WWE ID prospects includes:

  • Kylie Rae
  • Ricky Smokes
  • Aaron Rourke
  • Brad Baylor
  • Jackson Drake
  • Sean Legacy
  • Cappuccino Jones
  • Zayda Steel
  • Bryce Donovan
  • Marcus Mathers
  • Sam Holloway
  • Jack Summit (aka Jack Cartwheel)
  • Zara Zakher
  • It’s Gal (aka GAL)
  • Ice Williams
  • Zoe Sager
  • Aaron Roberts

Did Kylie Rae Appear On WWE After Leaving AEW?

Kylie Rae left AEW in 2019 and after some brief stints in TNA and NWA she made her WWE debut on the December 15th episode of Main Event, following this debut she sporadically appeared as an extra for WWE but never signed a contract with the company until now.

In other news, a member of the AEW roster called for Tony Khan to create a similar system.
