Former AEW TBS Champion Re-Signs Contract With The Promotion

Willow Nightingale AEW

A dominant pillar figure of AEW’s female division has re-signed her contract with the company.

Earlier this year, reports emerged about Willow Nightingale being in her contract year with All Elite Wrestling. With Nightingale on the verge of becoming a free agent at the end of 2025, she has finally put a halt to that outcome.

However, a new report has emerged with completely contradictory news. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Nightingale has re-signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion. While the report noted the agreement to be a multi-year deal, no other details or terms of the contract were shared in the report.

Tony Khan’s promotion was keen on retaining her and considered the former champion a priority, prompting them to sign the new deal immediately after Fightful Select’s previous reports became public. The Babe With The Power was happy with the promotion and wanted to remain there as well.

Nightingale’s last match was against Kris Statlander in a losing effort on the 8th May episode of Collision.

Will Ospreay Keen To See More AEW Tournaments In The Future

Current 2025 Owen Hart Tournament Finalist, Will Ospreay, recently shared his hopes to see more women-focused AEW tournaments in the future.

“Tournaments are the heart of pro wrestling. It gives people opportunities to tell their own stories and potentially have someone to climb up the card with shocking wins. Love to see in AEW do a king of trios, Tag League, Women’s Continental Classic or cruiserweight/Jr cup.”
